Course Description
The Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) is a government-certified course that teaches the basics of computers and information technology. The course covers a range of topics, including:
- Computer hardware and software
- Data storage
- Networking
- History of computers
- File management
- Using word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation software
- Using e-Governance applications
- Using the internet for digital financial services
The CCC course is designed to make people digitally literate and able to use computers for both professional and personal use. It's intended to help people of all ages, including housewives and small business owners, to use computers for a variety of tasks, such as: typing letters, sending emails, reading news, shopping online, and social media.
The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) provides the CCC certificate. Applicants can apply for the course online throughout the year. The course is 80 hours long and there is no age restriction.
